Five Top Tips for Cats on Dog Avoidance
Here’s a fun look at what a street wise cat needs to do to avoid getting cornered by a slobbering snarling dog. We all know from a cat’s point of view all dogs are potential enemies and appear to have a pathological tendency to want to attack and intimidate poor little kitties. Here’s how to stay safe and stay street wise:
Tip 1 – Tree Tactics
Run up a tree and perch on a branch swishing your tail and hiss at the dog. The dog will bark and run around in circles for some time but will soon get fed up and walk away. CAUTION: Do not get distracted by any birds in the tree. Remain focussed!
Tip 2 – Rabbit Punch
Some dogs will run away if you counter attack them. Puff yourself up, hiss and rabbit punch them on the nose, their most sensitive part. This is however a risky choice – NOT RECOMMENDED
Tip 3 – Avoid Parks
Public parks and woodlands are a Mecca for dogs. Do not go there felines! Its just not worth the hassle!
Tip 4 – Walk the Fence
Get around doggy territories by using the fence, walls and trees.
Tip 5 – No Teasing
Although it’s very tempting, do not perch yourself on a fence or wall and stare at the dog intently until it gets itself into a slathering frenzy. It might be a fun way to while away the afternoon but it’s a dangerous game. Protect your nine lives and don’t take any risks.
