Cats Protection

cat magazine cats protectionAs a subject so close to my heart, the Cats Protection is something I was bound to write about sooner rather than later, so why not sooner.

The Cats Protection is the UK’s leading welfare charity dedicated to cats. It rehomes over 60,000 cats each year. I so wish people would get their cats neutered, it would save so much heartache, I can’t adopt them all!

According to their website, they have around 7000 cats in their care at any on time. Thing is, the older a cat the more difficult it is to rehome. Everyone should get their cats microchipped and collared, as cats are so much more difficult to keep at home than dogs because they do have that independent streak in them and some go wandering for days at a time on a regular basis.

To support Cats Protection, you can subscribe to their monthly magazine, The Cat.
