Cats and Computers
I have been sat here this morning trying to get some work done on my computer. I purposefully got up early, had a shower, made a pot of tea and camped down by the PC to do some serious writing.
Tikka, my ginger cat, had other ideas however. Every time I turned my back and started tapping frantically at the keyboard he would let out a pitiful ‘meeeeooooowww’ that try as I might was so heart wrenching I couldn’t continue. So I would turn back to him sat looking angelic and beseeching on the bed and cuddle and stroke him for five minutes and quickly turn back. Again he mewed. Again I gave in. And so it went on for twenty minutes until I hardened my resolve and carried on.
Tikka was not to be thwarted. A new tactic! Sit on the keyboard! Well, that exceptionally effective and I gave in and cuddled and petted him until he got bored and left me in peace.
I’ve decided cats hate computers, mobile phones, books…in fact anything that takes away their owner’s attention from doing what they were obviously put on this planet to do…serve and adore their feline King or Queen!
