Cat Cuddles

There is nothing so disarming than when your aloof and standoffish feline suddenly looks at you with loving eyes, ardently head butting and purring against you as he or she decides its time to bestow you with some precious cat love.  Cats often get bad press for being cold, unfriendly and downright snooty.  Although I have to agree that cats can have their distant moments and do have a rather superior air about them particularly with strangers, they can be blissfully affectionate to their owner.

Cat cuddles are not available on demand as with the doggie species.  It’s all very much on their terms so make sure you drop everything and don’t miss out on the adoration that you will be afforded for ten happy minutes or so.  If you have a cat like mine he will take delight in picking the most inopportune moments to get all smoochy.  Tikka particularly likes to corner me when I’m either on my way out to work (a good ten minutes late already!) or when I’m trying to get some work done for a tight deadline.  Ignore them at your peril!  A cat scorned is a very sulky, moody creature indeed.  You will pay for not reciprocating his advances.  So just give in to the purrs and cuddle…
